Safety first!

Emu Plains Spinal and Sports Physiotherapy Centre is focused on the well-being and safety of all our clients and staff.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, is ever changing and we are closely monitoring the advice of the World Health Organisation. The Australian Health Department and Australia's Chief Medical Officer have not recommended closure of physiotherapy clinics. We will remain open to continue our focus on supporting our clients that are experiencing musculoskeletal injuries.

Strict hygiene practices and cleanliness standards have always been adhered to in our practice, such as:

  • Staff sanitising and washing their hands before and after each interaction.

  • All treatment and gym areas are thoroughly cleaned after each patient.Equipment is always wiped down and bed linen changed

  • No staff member attends work if they have any flu like symptoms.

In addition:

  •  we have the ability to provide single treatment rooms for our clients.

  • to adhere to social distancing regulations we are asking patients to only bring plus one to the practice e.g. child, partner, carer - if absolutely necessary

What we ask of you:

If you answer yes to any of the following questions we ask that you call the practice to discuss this with us and we will happily reschedule your appointment.

  • Any recent travels in the last 14 days overseas

  •  If you had any flu like symptoms – sore throat cough and fever in the past week.

  •  If you have had any contact with a confirmed coronavirus case.

The Australian government has recommended that anyone returning from travel outside of Australian, needs to self-quarantine for 14 days.  We ask if you have travelled out of Australia and returned home, you reschedule your appointment. until after the required 14 day period.

We thank you for your support and assistance in ensuring that we are able to continue to focus on your wellbeing and our community in a safe and respectful way.
